About us
Studio Maisonette was founded by principal designer Alexandra Cyranska. A native of London, Alex worked at a high-end decorating company and studied interior design at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago prior to launching her own firm.

Alex works closely with clients to turn their ideas for the spaces that they reside in into reality, transforming houses into homes. She is guided by an aesthetic that embraces all the best that classic design offers, combined with natural, organic elements, one-of-a-kind vintage furnishings, hand-crafted custom pieces and thoughtful details to create truly tailored interiors that look and feel timeless.

​She lives on Chicago's beautiful North Shore with her husband, son and chocolate Labrador.
